Angular steel grit
G - A cast steel angular grit produced by crushing of specially heat treated oversize shot pellets. It is utilised for blast cleaning or surface preparation.
GP - Angular when new, this grit rapidlyround off in use and is particulary suited to descaling applications
GL - Although harder than GP steel grit, GL also loses its sharp edges durnig shotblasting an is particulary suited to descaling and surface preparation applications
GH - Having maximum hardness, GH always remains angular in its operating mix. These abrasives are particularly effective in surface treatment processes and produce a uniform, etched finish. GH angular steel grit should only be used in wheel machines where working requirements take precedence over cost price consideration (for example with rolling mil cylinders or when a special finish is needed). For use mainly with compressed air equipment.
